As used herein, "personal information" is any information that identifies you as an individual and includes information with respect to your name, address, age, gender, employment, finances, health, and lifestyle.

We collect personal information to identify you as a person and to assist in our understanding of your current and future financial, health and lifestyle needs and determine the suitability of and properly administer the products and services we offer. Other information we ask for will depend on the products or services you request and, in most cases, will be required by the product or service provider selected or by law.
HOW DO WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOU?

Personal information may be stored in both physical and electronic formats, except for clients residing in Quebec whose information will be stored exclusively in electronic format. Personal information may be processed or stored outside of Quebec or Canada by service providers acting on our behalf. In such cases, The Estate Advisory Board Inc. takes reasonable steps to ensure appropriate privacy and security protections are in place. We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
In the event of a privacy breach, or if a confidentiality incident involving your personal information presents a risk of serious harm, we will take steps required by applicable privacy legislation, including notification to affected individuals and regulatory authorities where required.
AUTHORIZATION AND CONSENT
We will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your knowledge and informed consent except where required or permitted by law.
By signing this document, you provide your informed consent for the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice. This includes your consent for The Estate Advisory Board Inc. to collect, use and disclose your personal information for the purpose of establishing and maintaining your client file, opening and administering financial accounts and products related to the services we provide, and managing our ongoing professional relationship with you. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
DISCLOSURE AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
The disclosure of your personal information will be restricted to those who have a need for, and the right to, the information. Otherwise, The Estate Advisory Board Inc. will not sell, trade, or lend your persona! information to any third parties unless lawfully permitted or required, or we have your consent to do so.
